Some pupils in school have entered a Primary Engineers competition…
The pupils were set the question, ‘If I was an engineer I would…’ and then could come up with any invention they would do. They then had to explain why their design should be chosen by an engineer to create.
We entered 9 primary children and 2 got merits for their ideas and 7 were given distinctions. There were 13 secondary pupils entered and they all received distinctions.
The 20 pupil will now have their work displayed at the Discovery Museum on Friday 25th May with other children from around the area. The work will then be judged again to identify overall regional winners.
