The Children Speech and Language Therapy Service is running a phone service only. Face to face appointments will only be given if it is urgent.
You can contact the therapy service on 0191 2832484, please note the phone lines may be very busy at certain times during the day, please be patient and try again at another time. You will be asked to leave a message including your child’s name, date of birth and a contact number and someone will contact you as soon as possible.
All new referrals are still being accepted.

School remains closed to all other pupils until further notice.
There will be no pupils in school on Monday . You will be contacted if we can offer support for key workers. We need to be sure we have staff in place that can care for pupils safely . We have identified families from our records where both parents are key workers to offer support as a priority and offer those with one key worker if staffing allows. You will be contacted directly by text.
Depending upon the number of staff we have fit and well, we may be able to offer additional child care for key workers from Tuesday. We have a list of families with key workers. We will let those we can offer support know as soon as we can. The care and safety of your children and our staff will be at the core of all we do.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Our staff will be working hard to help directly for key worker support and by continuing to offer suggestions to keep young minds and bodies busy.
