We came to school wearing odd socks for this years anti-bullying week!!

Across school we have been remembering those who risked their lives to protect our Country during the World Wars.
Classes across school produced some fantastic art work.
Some pupils brought in special medals and photographs of family members who served in the war to share with their class.
We planted poppy seeds and made our own garden of remembrance.
In our school assembly the focus was all about why Remembrance day is very special.

We celebrated Mental Health Day yesterday by wearing yellow for school. Pupils across the school took part in a range of activities linked to feelings and emotions.
Our school council organised a special morning snack for the whole school. We could choose from a delicious selection of scones, crumpets, pancakes and croissants, washed down by a milkshake.
We asked everyone in school to donate food items to help those less fortunate in our local area.

Blue Class 1 collected in the donations and we have a fantastic 251 food items that will be delivered by a group of our pupils to Hebburn Helps.
Primary department celebrated the harvest festival in assembly this morning.

Today we had our own music festival ‘Keelfest’
Pupils came to school dressed in festival clothing and enjoyed face painting and balloon making.
We all enjoyed the inflatable obstacle course and a visit from the ice cream van.
A great time was had by all in the dance tent, followed by a fantastic show featuring a group of our senior pupils who signed and danced to some well known songs.
What a brilliant day!!
The whole school joined together for our sports day and worked very hard around different activities which included, athletics, golf, races, judo and obstacle courses. We had the huge inflatable slide on the field which was enjoyed by everyone. Bikes were available to ride and the chance to cool off with water guns where pupils had the chance to soak pictures of the staff!!
Pupils and staff thoroughly enjoyed the morning.
Lots of fun had by all.
